Dead Horse Point Campground

When you hear the name of this campground,  Dead Horse Point,  it doesn't necessarily conjure up pleasant pictures...  However, the campground was absolutely glorious, sitting on a cliff above a canyon with the Colorado River running below.  Our campsite was quite nice and being a high desert climate, we were able to sleep with the fly off the tent allowing a skyline to the night skies which were amazingly clear.  Beautiful night and a great camping experience! !!
