Zion

We've had no signal for a couple days, but we've been busy!  Lots of hiking and exploring around this magnificent park.  We got into town about 3 after our tours of Cedar Breaks and Kolob, and set up camp.  Campsite was in an exquisite and canyon views were all around us.  While the view was awesome, we were in the land of screaming babies.  All. Night. Long... Happily we got up early the next morning and hiked Observation Point.  Keith and I hiked this back in October and we're excited to do it again with the boys.  Eight miles round trip, with 2000+ elevation change on the way up, earns this hike a difficult rating but the views are absolutely amazing.   Best hike I've ever done.
Last night we were fortune enough to be able to switch campsites to a quiet, wonderful oasis of camping.  Lovely site with a pergola and a little lizard living under our rock.  Awesome and we slept until 8:00! First time that's happened on this trip for sure,  because we've been up with the sun every day.  Today we hiked The Narrows.  This is a slot canyon in Zion where you hike in the river, up the canyon with sheer cliffs on either side.  Water temperature was about 60° and felt great!! Fun hike and a different one, some liked it and others didn't.
All in all, Zion is a favorite of everyone on this adventure.   Lots to see and do, all with a fantastic backdrop courtesy of mother nature .
