Wawona Campground and Sequoia / King's Canyon

Yesterday as we were touring the Yosemite Valley, we saw lots of people scurrying around and heard that the Obamas were coming for a visit.  There were  secret service agents everywhere and they were closing off parking lots right and left. Good thing for us, we were staying at Wawona Campground our last two nights in Yosemite.   We attended the ranger campfire last night and it felt like scout camp.  Fun!
Today with the crowds, we decided to go to Sequoia and King's Canyon instead of seeing the big trees in the Valley (Mariposa grave is closed for restoration anyway).  Beautiful parks and lots of big trees to hike around and see.  Good day!!!
